The JEE Advanced Schedule has been Released!!

The JEE Advanced 2020 exam schedule has been confirmed and is to be conducted on May 17. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi will organise the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) in 2020 for admissions to nearly 11,279 B.Tech. seats in 23 IITs all over the country. Along with the declaration of exam dates, several other key decisions were taken by IIT Joint Admission Board (JAB) 


The Changes:

Number of candidates for JEE Advanced 2020 –

This Year will see the increase in number of candidates sitting for the exam. As per the report 10,000 more candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in JEE Advanced 2020 based on their JEE Main results. For JEE Advanced 2020, a total of 2,50,000 students (including all categories) will be shortlisted to appear in the exam. 

Changes in JEE Advanced 2020 Paper - 2 time slots -

The JAB has decided to make slight changes in the examination timing of JEE Advanced 2020 Paper 2. The first paper of JEE (Advanced) will start at 9.00 a.m. till 12 noon (IST). The second paper will be conducted from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (IST). Earlier, paper II timings were from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
