- Amit has more than 18 years of experience of consulting in the field of IFRS / Ind AS / US GAAP, accounting and financial reporting advisory. Amit is cofounder partner at FinPro Consulting and CFO and Director at LeazeOn Private Limited. Before cofounding FinPro, Amit was associated with KPMG in India for around 6 years and for 3 years with KPIT Infosystems Limited.
- Amit specializes in technical accounting advisory and GAAP convergence projects. He has helped many domestic and foreign multinational clients to successfully transit from one reporting framework another. He has experience to work under different reporting frameworks viz. IFRS, Ind AS and US GAAP across various sectors.
- Amit specializes in delivering trainings on IFRS, Ind AS and US GAAP in and outside India. He has authored a book for the course Diploma IFRS (accredited by ACCA, UK) and for CA Final (ICAI, India).
- Amit has formulated research papers for regional branches of ICAI on ‘Impact of Ind AS implementation’ and on ‘IFRS 15 – Revenue from contracts with customers. He also contributed towards formulating ‘Illustrative financial statements’ under Ind AS published by WIRC of ICAI in India. He is regular speaker on various forums of ICAI in India on Ind AS.
