1) What are the subjects in the CA Final?
There are 2 groups under the CA Final. These 2 groups have been divided into 8 papers. The sixth paper has six optional subjects from which a student can choose one as an optional paper.

- Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics.
- Corporate and Economic Laws.

2) How many attempts are allowed for the CA Final?
Initial registration for Final Course is valid for 5 years (10 attempts as there are 2 exams in a year). After 5 years, a student should revalidate it for another 5 years. There is no limit to the number of attempts taken to clear a CA exam.

3) Can I give CA Final exam without Articleship?
No. As per the eligibility criteria to appear in CA final exam, the candidate must have completed at least 2.5 years of articleship under the practicing CA or as per the rules of ICAI. The candidates will not be eligible to appear in the exam before completing the provided duration of articleship.
However, the total duration of training is three years to complete the CA final program as per ICAI.
4) How do I register for new CA Final course?
Candidates must register for the CA Intermediate Course filling out the Online CA Intermediate Registration Form available on ICAI website (www.icai.org). To know the step by step Registration Process, Click Here.
5) Which group to be written first?
It depends completely on the student. You should appear for the group in which you have more confidence and complete preparations.
6) How to get an articleship in Big4?
You can apply with your resume in the “work with us” section at the website of Big4 firms or if you know someone who works at Big4, you can ask them to refer you.
7) What Documents are Required For CA Final Registration?
Students must submit relevant documentation while filing the registration form of CA Final. The required documents are:
- Candidate’s signature
- Candidate’s Passport Size Photo
- CA IPCC/Intermediate examination result, attested copy
- CA foundation/CPT examination attested copy
- Nationality certificate
- A copy of the special category certificate
Students must keep these documents’ scanned copies ready before filling out the registration form.
8) What is the fees of CA Final?
Students will be required to pay INR 22,000 for the full CA Final course.
9) How to Check The Registration Status?
Students are recommended to check the CA Final Registration status after completing the CA Final Registration.
Normally, students will receive an email notification about the registration confirmation along with the password. In that situation, if students do not receive the confirmation email regarding the CA Final Registration, they should inquire about it through the regional office. They can also contact customer service. The ICAI website allows students to check their CA Final Registration Status.
